The Masterplan
I can't believe that more than a week has already gone by since I came back home. It has been a really good week though...Pramod was here the last six days and we had lots of fun together meeting all my friends and stuffing ourselves with delicious local food (that's definitely one thing about Singapore I will never ever complain about). Now that "Hurricane Pramod" (Thanapal 2006) is gone, I may have more time in my hands to sit back and relax (note: I said 'may').
Finished three days of my internship at the Australian International School and I can confidently say that a career in teaching is something that I can envisage myself being happy in. Given that I have always wanted to be a teacher and I have great admiration and reverence for the profession, I don't understand why it took me so long to make this decision but I'm glad I finally did...I was pretty disappointed last year when I found out I missed my first class honours by 0.7 % and a chance of getting a scholarship to do a PhD but now I understand that everything happens for a reason. I am not ready for academia and this was just God's way of telling me.
