Sometimes even Shakespeare writes crap

You can learn about all the pedagogical theories in the world but nothing beats the actual hands-on experience of teaching. My work experience at the Australian International School has been fantastic and I feel that I have really grown as a professional during this period. I was fortunate to have gotten the school's English Head of Department to be my supervising mentor. That man is a really charismatic teacher and I have learnt so much from him. This experience has also rekindled my interest in reading and movies...I disgust myself sometimes when I think of how little I read so I have decided that things must change and I am now on an intensive reading program to prevent me from any further mental retardation. Yesterday, I finished reading Shakespeare's "The Taming of the Shrew" and I thought it was highly sexist and offensive. Probably the worst Shakespearean play I have read. Minus three stars!!!

I just received my grades for last semester. With the exception of one subject where I got a distinction, I got high distinctions in all my modules. While I would have been happier with a perfect report card, I suppose I should be pleased...so congratulations to me!
