Photos from Deepavali

These are some pictures which were taken at a Tamil Deepavali function in the Gold Coast on October 14th. I believe it was the first of its kind and was organised by a couple of Griffith Univeristy students from Singapore and Malaysia.

And on Deepavali day itself...

This is our first guest Mohit who had to go through the painful ordeal of eating our experimental "Aussie Dinkum Thosai".

And sometimes, he needed some encouragement to finish his breakfast.

With Pramod at the Triplets' place where we had our Deepavali lunch gathering. The camera had to be tilted so I don't look too short beside him.
