Routine

So....I'm trying to get back into the hang of writing again...not much has happened in the last 2 months really...hence the lack of inspiration.


I've heard people describe being stuck at the cross roads of life..I feel like I've been stalled by a really long traffic light. I know where I'm heading and I'm sure of my route and journey but there are red lights and I can't quite move.


I suppose things happened too fast last year...got my driver's license, completed my masters, found a permanent job, gained permanent residency and got married. I was on a rush. Now the party has ended and I'm waiting for the next exciting thing to happen.

I know I should not be complaining. I mean, nothing catastrophic is happening in my life really..I like my job, I adore my home, I love my family and I appreciate the place I'm in. I'm busy and productive but I'm bored.

I've charted things I want to do...things to work towards such as buying a new investment property, getting back into the performing arts scene, working towards a career switch in guidance counseling and having children....but these things will take time.....time.......time really is not a friend of mine. I quite despise it...either too fast or way too slow...
